Irrationality and the bay

Irrationality – is cognition, thinking, talking or acting without inclusion of rationality. It is more specifically described as an action or opinion given through inadequate use of reason, emotional distress, or cognitive deficiency. The term is used, usually pejoratively, to describe thinking and actions that are, or appear to be, less useful, or more illogical than other more rational alternatives. (Wikipedia).

Bay –   is a large body of water connected to an ocean or sea, formed by an inlet of water due to the surrounding land blocking some waves and often reducing winds. (Wikipedia).

I guess I should also define laziness? I can not continue to blame my absence here on the 7am – 11pm ( Yes!!! I closed 11pm last week Friday) job. I need to find no-excuses and just phrant weekly at the minimum.

What does irrationality connote for you? Is it signing up for a job where you get screamed at day in day out; is it being so scared of your line manager you can not think ( be rational); is it preparing a report filled with so much deceit…

I think irrationality is losing oneself, letting go of what makes you breathe, it is forgetting to thank God for being alive yet recalling to IM a colleague about work first thing in the morning. Even the “Holy Book” warns about avoiding relationships that seize your freedom.

Irrationality and the bay occurred last year, I had been reading a lot of Black and White Landscape books and they all advised one get filters, so I went filter-a-fishing on a sunny Saturday morning with my brother Logor. Our trusted location for camera and accessories is Aroloya, Lagos Island. The following phrants occurred while sourcing and after sourcing the filter (I have not used that filter since then):

We decided to visit bar beach only to be stopped by CIVILIZATION, our dear beach is no more, gone forever to the harem of rich men.

The rationality of irrationality stepped in from here, blame it on the frustrations of not being able to visit bar beach. We simply took pictures of whatever, wherever till we crossed rationality for the BAY:

I will complete this next week with “the randomness of the bay”…
